Exclusive talk on actor’s 10 years journey in bollywood, when he started off and how he has reached today
Hailing from an ordinary marathi family dashing, dynamic actor Shashikant Shinde is living his mom’s dream, busy in marathi and south film industry. He is very good actor as well as an spontaneous anchor. Youtuber actor Shashikant Shinde confers grooming, guidance and motivating tips to the budding actors most often. He has a soft corner for the upcoming talent as he has himself been struggled a lot to make his livelihood on the celluloid. A few excerpts from his exclusive interview with IPS Yadav, author, admin & editor in chief, indiaajtak.com:
Q: How all this begun to you and what problems did you face in the journey?
A: When I thought of getting into acting line I faced a lot of problems, my dad didn’t want me to go into this field but my mother who is no more now in this world had a dream that I should make it big in bollywood. So, naturally I went on with my mother’s dream.
Q: Which marathi film are you doing?
A: I am doing one marathi film titled-‘Online’, film is a crime suspense, thriller with little bit of comedy; story is based in the backdrop of tribes of Maharashtra. I am playing ‘Raghu’ a positive character who sacrifices his life for his owner. The film also has big names like Mohan Joshi, Kishori Shahane, Kranti Redkar, Vishal Patil in key roles. Being directed by renowned Actor-Director Milind Karadkar the film is produced by Arun Gilvatkar. The film would have four songs penned and music scored by Music Director Suresh. Very soon the shooting of this film is going to start in Mumbai, Pen and Maharashtra.
Q: Recently you did a short film called ‘The Love’, how was the response?
A: ‘The Love’ was based on an eye opening subject of eye donation which shows the importance of body organs like eye donation. Film got very good response from the audience as well as the film critics. We had shot the movie in the outskirts of Mumbai where got very good support of locales.
Q: You are doing bollywood, Marathi and south movies also, how do you cope with such varied job?
A: I am very much comfortable; I am doing one kannada film. see, it’s just the matter of time management, its challenging but I manage it well. Another challenge is that you have to maintain your diet and fitness during the shuttling from one location to on another different places.
