The Gurudwara Bair Sahib also known as Baba Beri or Baba Bair is located in Sialkot, Pakistan. It was the site where Father Guru Nanak lived and met Hamza Ghaus, a prominent Sialkot saint. [1] The berry tree where Guru Nanak lives is still standing. The gurdwara was designed by Natha Singh [2] and includes a garden, pool, and living rooms. It is located in the town of Sultanpur Lodhi in Punjab by Gurudwara Ber Sahib where Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent most of his life. Also known as Gurudwara Bir Baba Buddha, this is located at the edge of the town of Thatta, about 12 miles [20 km] south of Amritsar. Sultanpur Lodhi is where Guru Nanak Dev Ji married Bibi Sulakhani and they had 2 sons, Sri Chand, and Lakshmi Das in 1494 AD and 1497 AD respectively. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was in Sultanpur Lodhi for 14 years before trying to spread Sikhism and its teachings to the world. The city is considered one of the oldest, dating to the first century AD. Gurudwara Ber Sahib is the largest Gurudwara located in Sultanpur Lodhi and located on the Kali Bein River. It is located near the 'ber 'tree, known as the place where Guru Ji meditated daily for 14 years, 9 months, and 13 years.
