Hidden over the hills of Shivalik, Nada Sahib is the Sikh Gurudwara which is often visited by Sikhism followers and other pilgrims. It is located on the banks of the Ghaggar River and is believed to have been the site of the Guru Gobind Singh stops during the 1688 Bangani War from Paonta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib. It is a sure way to restore peace of mind and soothe a tired soul in case you are in Panchkula. Pay homage, repeat the 'nightmare' of the day, and don't miss Langar. The number of worshipers is rising on a full moon (Pooranmashi) every month. The area gets its name from the story of the good Samaritan named Nadu Shah from a neighboring village who supplied Guru Gobind and his followers with food and milk after their conquest of the Mughals.
