Joshimath Nanda Devi National Park Sightseeing
The region is considered one of the most spectacular wildernesses in the Himalayas, is a natural landmark, and is dominated by India's second-highest mountain, Nanda Devi. A World Natural Heritage Site, Nanda Devi National Park has a unique terrain, climate, and soil that supports diverse habitats, species, communities, and ecosystems. The glacier is 7,065 meters above sea level and is a great place for trekking. It is located on a hillside facing south, about 60km from Munshiyari in the Kumaon region. Apparently, this is the largest and most important glacier in the Kumaon region and is easily accessible. Located 3 km from Tapovan, Bhavisya Badri is one of the five major Badri. Locals believe that this place has been transformed into the Badrinath Temple. This is because weather conditions made it impossible to track the original location. From here you can enjoy the view of the Dauriganga River and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Another beautiful destination near Nanda Devi National Park is Karpeshwar, one of the sanctuaries of Lord Shiva. You can cross from the village of Argam, which is about 3 km on foot. This place is famous for the Karpeshwar Temple, one of the Punchkedal Temples all year round.
