Kedarnath


Kedarnath, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in North India, is located in Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is a popular destination for Hindu pilgrims and is one of the four major pilgrimage sites in India, including Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunothori. Kedarnath is a strictly vegetarian place, where alcohol consumption is banned. On the way to the Holy Temple, there are several restaurants and Dhaba that are open from 4 am to midnight and serve simple Indian cuisine. It is advisable to eat cooked foods or cooked vegetables to monitor your health. Near the Kedarnath Temple, this beautiful temple is Lord Bhairava, the main Gana of Lord Shiva. Located on a hill, it is one of the best temples in Kedarnath. The god of this temple is said to be the guardian deity of the Temple of Kedarnat. Basquital is one of the best places in Kedarnath. This is a beautiful lake at an altitude of 4135m from the hills of Kedarnat. From here you can see a wonderful close-up view of many mountain peaks. The summit of Chandrasila is one of the most popular places in Kedarnath, 4000 meters above sea level. This place is believed to have been the place where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva after killing Ravana.
