Rudraprayag

Rudraprayag is a scenic spot and a popular stopover for pilgrims traveling to Kedarnath and Badrinath. It is a religiously important goal, as Narada is believed to have been elevated by Lord Shiva in Rudra's avatar. In addition, it is also the confluence of the Alakananda and Mandakini rivers and, therefore, the main confluence of Punch Playag or Five Confluence. The temple of Rudra Playag, a famous religious temple in the area, is the very place where the Alakananda and Mandakini rivers meet after being baptized by Lord Shiva. Therefore, this is the main temple of Narada's religious history, after which the place was named Rudra Playag. Located just 3 km from Rudraprayag, Koteshwar Mahadev Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva who meditated here as he approached Kedarnath, according to ancient mythology. The Deolia Valley, a lake with a fascinating landscape of the Shokhamba Mountains and the lush forests that surround it, is a relaxing and rejuvenating destination. You can also go boating and bird watching. This place is an ideal way to finish your trip, as you can settle down here with charismatic scenery.
