Dibru Saikhowa National Park is one of those places that boasts a rich collection of flora and fauna, many of which are endangered. It is one of the few remaining protected areas in the Assamese Plains Endemic Bird Area. Dibru Saikhowa National Park is a national park on the river island and is one of 19 biodiversity hotspots in the world. This National Park is located 12 km north of Tinsukia in Assam. In seven parts of the park, one is wetland and the other is mostly covered with grassy areas and dense jungles.
