Gurdwara is dedicated to the eighth memory of Guru Sri Harkrishan Sahib Ji. He visited the area on his way to Delhi. It is located on the Ambala-Naraingarh road. Guru during his journey from Kiratpur to Panjokhra, traveled to Ropar, Banur, Raipura, and Ambala. Guru Ji spent three days here on their journey from Kiratpur Sahib to Delhi. The Gurudwara building is huge and is visited by thousands of volunteers every day. On the way, he gave a universal message to Guru Nanak, to the students, who came to call him. As he approached Panjokhra, the student politely said, “The esteemed Sangats came from Peshawar, Kabul, and Kashmir in Darshan. It is located approximately 11 kilometers from the Ambala Cantt railway station. In the summer there is a camp set up by a local committee to train theikh children to learn Gurmukhi and rehat and maryada sik. Gurudwara Panjokhra Sahib is located in Panjokhra village on Ambala Dehradoon / Naraingarh Road at a distance of about 9 KM from Ambala City in Haryana. According to historical records, when Guru Harkrishan arrived in the village of Panlokhra, he made a sandy border and said that anyone who wanted to see him should stop there.
