Jhunjhunu is the town and capital of the Jhunjhunu district in the province of Rajasthan. The city is located in the northern region of Rajasthan, India, and is the administrative headquarters of the Jhunjhunu District. It is said that the city was named after a Jat leader named Jhunjha or Jujhar Singh Nehra.
