karimganj

Away from the roaring sounds of the cities, Karimganj, located 313 miles [313 km] from Guwahati, is a small town of Assam that sleeps deep in nature. Karimganj is the largest and most administrative city in the region. Located in the southern part of the country, the region consists of wetlands and farms which is known as one of the largest agricultural districts in Assam. It is an important trade and commodity center with essential services that we export to a few provinces in India. With a thick layer of trees, forest production is the most important way of life for the people, Karimganj has a pool of cultures connected with local tribes, languages, and cultures that are only found in their area. It shares its border with Bangladesh, a town adorned with two main rivers Kushiara and Longai. The long roaring canal called the Noti Khal is also evident in the area that helps connect these two rivers to create a water level balance. Winter (October-January) is relatively cold but fun enough to enjoy exploring the city. Therefore, it is best to visit the city between October and February.
