Nameri National Park is famous for its elephants and other animals including tigers, leopards, gaurs, wild boars, sambars, etc., and is a bird-watching paradise. River rafting is also held on the south-east side of the park on the Jai Bharali River. The rafting route is 13 miles long and takes about three hours.
