Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, Sadiya is one of the branch headquarters in Tinsukia. It is located at the confluence of three major rivers, the Dihing (Tsangpo in Tibet), the Dibang, and the Lohit, which form the mighty Brahmaputra. It has an elevation of 1,600 feet [400 m] and stands on a grassy plain. Sadiya is a small town but it is home to an amazingly beautiful landscape and rich history. The flower is 'full' and is a major feature of this city. Wide plains and white sand adorned the riverbank making it an ideal destination for tourists. Riding a boat or boat to the Brahmaputra can be a fun experience. Sadiya is well-known as the site of the Sutiya dynasty and its temple in Tameshwari. It is a Shakti temple that can be reached by boat from Dhola Ghat. It is an important site for archaeologists because of its magnificent architecture. The roof of the temple is made of pure copper ('tam' in Assamese). Hence, the name. There are many Shaivik temples where the Deor tribes worshiped in ancient times. The two largest are Burha-Burhi Thaan and Boiragi Thaan.
