Khilanmarg

This miniature valley in Gulmarg is a very popular attraction among visitors. Primarily, it is an immeasurable natural beauty with some of the most spectacular views of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. It is commonly known as a frozen lake because it remains completely frozen from November to June. It is popular for a day's hike, starting from Gulmarg and covering a distance of about 13km. Another location very close to Khilanmarg is Nature's Daughter-Gulmarg. Covered with pure snow during the winter, Gulmarg is full of pristine lakes, mountains, and many scenic spots. Skiing and snowboarding are two major activities to enjoy in Gulmarg. Grumalgu, India's most popular ski resort, has many ski resorts offering all kinds of ski facilities and attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. Ferozepur Nallah is another exquisite mountain stream that runs through the valley between the beautiful China Marg and the Nurpur Pass. This nuller is very famous for trout fishing here in the summer.
