Mcleodganj is a mountain station near Dharamshala, famous for pedestrians. Located in the province of Kangra, Mcleodganj's culture is a beautiful combination of Tibetans with a certain British influence. Also known as Little Lhasa and known worldwide for being the home of the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, Mcleod Ganj is a picturesque town near northern Dharamsala. Settled amid beautiful hills and lush greenery, the city is traditionally blessed with outstanding Tibetan influence due to the Tibetan population here. Mcleodganj has some of the most impressive landscapes in the entire region of Himachal Pradesh and attracts a large number of tourists throughout the year. The villages of Dharamsala, Mcleodganj, Bhagsu Nag, and Kangra are very close together and tourists should cover all these places as they travel here. A few prominent and important religious monks in India can be found here, including the Namgyal Monastery and Tsuglagkhang, home to the spirit leader Dalai Lama. Visitors should also visit Dal Lake and the magnificent Triund, perfect for quiet picnics. Every part of the building is open to the public outside the Dalai Lama. The Tsuglagkhang Complex also has a magnificent portrait of King Buddha and various sculptures of Chenrezig and Guru Rinpoche, which are some of the things you can see in Macleodganj.
