Manali

One of the most famous hill stations in Himachal, Manali offers spectacular views of Pir Panjal and the snow-covered Dhauladhar range in many parts of the year. As the Covid-19 epidemic continues, Manali has become a popular destination for young people who want to stay longer to work. With ambient cafes, good wifi access, small restaurants, and convenience stores, Old Manali is among the favorite places for such people. There are plenty of accommodations and hostels that offer cheap bedding for a long time. Manali has many hiking options around, which makes it a great base to explore the Himalayas side. River Beas offers great rafting options in the nearby town of Kullu. Adjacent to the river Parvati, lies the Parvati Valley with Kasol, Manikaran, Tosh, and small villages that attract travelers to stay longer. The Atal Tunnel now allows travelers to reach Sissu within a few hours making Spiti easily accessible. It snows mainly in January and February, followed by December and March. If you are very lucky, you may get snow in April. Visitors flock to the Rohtang Pass & Solang Valley for a variety of self-sacrificing activities including skiing, paragliding, horseback riding & zorbing. Rohtang Pass is always covered with snow and can be very crowded and see traffic jams.
