History:
Sangrur District is located in Punjab, northern India. Sangrur Province was founded in 1948. This area previously belonged to Nabha Princely StateThe settlement of Sangruul can be traced back to before Harapan. A recent excavation in Rohira, Sangrur, identified a 10-meter-high mound with a settlement dating back to 2300 BC. Discovered in BC. Excavations in the village of Murdokera uncovered pottery from the Harapan era. Ruins of Kushan pottery have also been discovered.
