History:

Tarn Taran Sahib is a city in Punjab, far north of India. The Than Thalang District was established on June 16, 2006, during the celebration of the 400th Martyrdom Day in Shriguru Aryandevzi. A relevant statement was made by Captain Amarin Darsin, Prime Minister of Punjab. Therefore, it became the 19th district of Punjab. 5059 square meters Kilometers around. This is the city that connects all the cities of Amritsar and Majha. The main occupations in this area are agriculture and the agricultural industry, with few other industries.

Famous for?

The  is characterized by having the largest surover (pond) in Gurdwara. It is the only Gurdwara replica of Amritsar's Shrihaminder Sahib.
