The state government responded to these demands by guaranteeing the creation of Kamle District, which would increase the speed of the creation of Pakke Kessang and Kamle districts. On December 15, 2017, Pemakandu officially launched Kamle District, marking a new era of growth and development for the area. The district is named after the River Canelé, which is an important water source for the region and has cultural significance for the Nyishi people. Kamle District is an important part of Arunachal Pradesh's history and culture, and its creation represents a commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the local population.
