History:
Longding District is part of the Tirap Border Authority, founded in 1943, covering some areas of the Rakinpuru Frontier Truck and Sadiya Frontier Truck, which is headquartered in Margherita, Assam. rice field. The Tyrup Frontier Agency was renamed the Northeast Frontier Agency, the Tyrup Frontier Division under Administrative Regulations in 1954. The TFA was headed by a political commissar.
