South West Khasi Hills is an administrative district in Meghalaya, India. The Southwest Kashi Hills area was spun off from the West Kashi Hills area on August 3, 2012. The Governor of Meghalaya considered that for public convenience and better administrative reasons, it needed to be fully integrated with minor changes to improve Mawkyrwat citizen subdivision in the West Kashi Hills area. -A full-fledged district.
