Its neighbors are Myanmar (formerly Burma) in the south and east, the state of Ukhrul in the north, the province of Churachandpur in the south and west, and the province of Thoubal in the north. It is about 64 km. far from Imphal. National Highway No. 39 passes through this region. This region is home to many communities.
