Gadchiroli Laurie District History: Gadchiroli Raleigh District was carved on August 26, 1982 by the division of the former Chandrapur District. Formerly part of the Chandrapur district, before the establishment of the Gadchiroli Loritasil district in Chandrapur, there were only two locations, Gadchiroli Rory and Sironcha. Gadchiroli-Tahsil was created in 1905 by transferring Zamindari's real estate from Brahmapuri and Chandrapur-Tahsil. The Gadchiroli Raleigh district was created on August 26, 1982 by branching the Chandrapur district to the site of Bramhapuri, which is part of the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. In ancient times, the area was dominated by the Rashtrakuta dynasty and later by the Gondi tribe of Gadosilori.
