Bangalore Rural District
History:
Bengaluru Rural District is one of 30 districts in Karnataka. Founded in 1986, Bangalore was divided into Bangalore (regional) and Bangalore (city). Being close to the city of Bangalore has a unique impact on the district. The rural population is mainly agriculture, but with the introduction of SEZs, the land, services and IT industries are increasing. Devanahalli is a 95 billion Devanahalli Business Park near Bangalore International Airport. Weaving is also the main occupation of most of the population.
