About Latehar District
History:
Latehar County is one of the 24 counties of Jharkhand district in eastern India, and the city of Latehar is the administrative capital of the region. This region is part of the Plam wing. The area covered by the present district became part of the Palm district, which was formed on 1 January 1928. The Latehar district was created on 4 April 2001 by separating the old Latehar district of the Palm region. It is currently part of the Red Corridor.
