History:
Perambalur is one of 38 districts (administrative district) in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. The regional headquarters are located in Perambalur. The Perambalur region is the inland region of Tamil Nadu. It was divided three times from the former colony of Tiruchirappalli and was founded on November 1, 1995. After the death of Thippu Sultan, the British took over the Civil and Army Administration of the Carnatic in 1801. So Tiruchirappalli fell into the hands of the English and the English. The district was built in 1801.
