History:
Warangal County, formerly Warangal Rural District, is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The district was established in 2016 by recording the Warangal Rural district in the former Warangal region. In August 2021, the Warangal Rural region was renamed the Warangal region. Warangal and Khila Warangal instructions are forwarded to the newly formed Warangal district. During the occupation of the Katatiya, the capital of their empire was named '' ORUGALLU '', a fortress built of a single compound stone and later called Warangal.
