Komaram Bheem Asifabad District, officially known as Kumuram Bheem Asifabad District, is a district located in the Indian state of Telangana. At the beginning of the 20th century, the region was known as Jangam and Asifabad served as its headquarters. The city of Asifabad is a regional capital Named after Gond tribal leader Komaram Bheem.
