Narayanpur District
History:
Narayanpur District is one of 28 Chhattisgarh State districts in Central India. It is one of two districts formed on May 11, 2007. It was recorded in the old Bastar region. Being part of the Bastar sect with many Naxalite terrorists, transportation and medical facilities are two of the main concerns of the people living here. Its capital was Jagdalpur, where Bastar's royal palace was built by its emperor, whose capital was removed from the old capital Bastar.
