Rajnandgaon District

History:

In 1973, Rajnandgaon was incorporated into the Durg District and a new Rajnandangaon District was established. Rajnandgaon has become the administrative headquarters of the region. However, in 1998, part of the Rajnandgaon region and part of the Bilaspur region were merged to form the new district of Madhya Pradesh. The district was renamed Kabirdham County. The history of Rajnandgaon once again changed course in 2000. After a long search, a new country was recorded in Madhya Pradesh and renamed Chhattisgarh. Rajnandgaon became an important city and continued to be a distinct region.
