History:

Chhota Udaipur Province (also Chhota Udepur region) is a state in the state of Gujarat in India. IChhota Udepur was the capital of Chhota Udepur Province, founded in 1743 by Rawal Udeysinhji, a descendant of Patai Rawal of Champaner. The region was a First Class region under the Rewa Kantha Agency and was merged with the Union of India on March 10, 1948. The region was created to facilitate segregation and easy access to government services.
