Patan District is one of the 33 districts of Gujarat in western India. Its capital city is Patan Patan District was established on 2-10-97 from parts of the Mahesana and Banaskantha districts. Patan District was built on 2-10-2000 from parts of Mahesana District and Banaskantha. The Patan district was established which included Patan, Siddhpur, Chanasma, Harij, and Sami Talukas of the Mahesana district and Radhanpur and Santalpur Talukas of the Banaskantha District.
