About Kendrapara District
History:
Recorded in the ancient Cuttack region, Kendrapara District is located in the central part of the Odisha plateau. On April 1, 1993, Kendrapara District was created to form the Mother Cuttack District. Kendrapara is the administrative headquarters of the Kendrapara District. It is the capital of the Kendrapara region. Kendrapara District is located in the eastern part of the district, and is bounded in the northern part of Badrak district, in the east by the Bay of Bengal, in the south by Jagatsinghpur District etc.
