History:
Annually due to ongoing needs and representation, the British govt. in England approved the act in 1935 to establish a separate province of Odisha. In 1936 Odisha became a state state. Nabarangpur was included in the New Koraput region as a subdivision. Nabarangpur was a small part of the Koraput region. On October 2, 1992, on Mahatma Gandhis' happy birthday, the Odisha government declared Nabarangpur an independent province. recorded in Koraput region.
