Alirajpur District

History:

The district was recorded a long time ago in Jhabaa district on May 17, 2008. The district is named after its headquarters in Alirajpur which was the capital of the former prince district of Alirajpur. The area is hilly and most of the inhabitants are near Bils. It is the smallest literate district in India according to the 2011 Census. Alirajpur is the administrative headquarters of the region.
