History:
Neemuch or Nimach is a town located in the state of malwa. Neemuch crowns the northwestern part of the MP. It is also called the city of Nature and Peace. The village shares its northwestern border with the state of Rajasthan and is the administrative capital of the Neemuch District. The Neemuch cantonment played a major role in the Indian uprising of 1857 and was the scene of unrest in Malwa. In 1857, Neemuch was the southernmost point of the revolution. A group of Bengal soldiers was stationed in Neemuch, then rebelled and headed for Delhi.
Famous:
Neemuch is known as Krispa Ppaj Mandi (Agricultural Production Market). This is a major market for all livelihoods and another attraction is CRPF. Neemuch was the birthplace of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in 1939.
