History:

Shajapur Province is the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India. The city of Shajapur is the regional capital. Shajapur District is part of the Malwa Plateau. The region is located in the northwestern part of the region. The Shajapur region in the Ujjain region was introduced during the 1981 census. The region is named after the capital city of Shajapur, named after the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, who stood here in 1640.
