History:
District Sant Kabir Nagar is a district in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Sant Kabir Nagar was founded on September 5, 1997, in the Basti district, with 131 villages from Tesyl Basti and 161 villages from Bansitesil in the Siddharsnagar district. The district is located between Gorakhpur to the east, Basti to the west, Siddharsnagar to the north, and Ambecker Nagar to the south. According to the 2011 census, the area has a population of 1706706, of which 865195 are male and 841511 are female, of which 120054 live in urban areas and 1586652 live in rural areas
