History:
Barrampuru is a municipality in the Barrampuru district in Uttar Pradesh, India. Located on the banks of the Rapti River, it is the district headquarters of the Balrampur district. The establishment of the Barrampuru district is G.D. No. 1428/15/97/172 / 85R5 Lucknow on May 25, 1997, by the Gonda District Bureau. One of the most popular places of worship in Hinduism is in Tulsipur, about 27 km from the district headquarters. The district is named after the former Prince of Taluqdar and its capital, Taluqdar.
