History:

On October 2, 1989, the Maharajgangji district was formed from the Gorakhpur district. Boundary conditions are related to Nepal to the north, Gorakhpur to the south, Ksinagar to the east, and Bihar's west and Siddhartha Nagar to the west. Religious Temple of Lehra Devi There is a temple of Lehra Devi. People from all over East Uttar Pradesh come here to worship the goddess Durga. It is believed that Pandava lived in disguise for a year while wandering in the woods for 14 years.
